What is the purpose of this service?This service is designed to assist the small Japanese business that wishes to establish a presence in southern California. Since it can be very expensive to establish a new company in California and staff it with personnel from Japan, our company is offering to act as a "bridge" for such companies. We will assist the Japanese company with just those services that are necessary for it to establish a presence in the United States. We can, if necessary, act as a local representative or contact for the Japanese company while the company builds it business in the U.S. As the local presence grows, we will assist the Japanese company with securing suitable office space, legal and accounting services, and, when necessary, appropriate working visas for Japanese personnel. Back to TopWhat services do you provide?We will work with local professionals to help the Japanese company select the appropriate business format (representative office, closely held corporation, or limited liability company) for the local office. We will help the company find suitable legal and accounting assistance. We can act as a point of contact or even as a local representative for the company until it grows to sufficient size to justify the full time employment of its own personnel. If the company wishes to transfer personnel from Japan, we will work with expert legal professionals to obtain the appropriate working visas for those employees. Uniformly, our clients have found that our fees are substantially lower than the cost of alternative arrangements. It may not be necessary for you to continue to maintain the overhead of your own office space and personnel if we can handle these same matters for you.
